I love the idea of Merlin practicing on rocks (and having some failures that have to be, um... disposed of.) As soon as the cat appeared, I guessed who it was and I loved that too. But mostly, I loved the style of the writing. It was light and fun, for all that it was also serious. Thank you. This one's a keeper.
