I just read the description and it looks great! M/M's not my thing, even though I've read two or three. Hrm. One or two. More fanfic, probably, than actual novels, but I am going to have to give this a go!
I am inherently lazy and I'm a devour-er of books, but I did actually leave a review for this at Goodreads.
I didn't realize this book featured a M/M romance until I was already hooked by the synopsis, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. What I liked about this book was that the story was so plausible, so believable, that I didn't have to suspend disbelief for a moment. I really felt for Emory and could totally relate to his position as 'the other guy' because something that holds true for the other guy holds true for him - he's likable, and charming, and usually someone else's Mr. Right. Another thing I liked was that this was, in fact, a romance and not just an excuse to write some m/m erotica. That said, if you're looking for sex scenes, go somewhere else; anything beyond kissing and a few caresses were tastefully alluded to and I have to say that only made the romance sweeter. My only complaint? I wanted more.
