(no subject)

I'm trying to write a fic with a more serious tone than I usually write with, just for a change, and it's been going okay because sending someone to prison usually doesn't lend itself to hilarity, but I just got to a scene with Blaise, and he's insisting on being quippy and amusing, and now Draco's totally joining in, and that is not the plan.

Must go to bed. Maybe Blaise will be less funny tomorrow. *gives him stink-eye*

Haha Blaise is so hard to write into serious scenes, he's the comic relief. And then he brings everyone along for the ride, it's just not fair!

I have to agree with the above comments. Blaise is there to provide witty commentary and laughs. Besides, you kind of need some form of comic relief in serious stories.
