Unrelatedly, I hate writing kissing scenes. Sometimes they are necessary, and most of the time they are an exercise in wretchedness. I can make people banter until the cows come home, but get them less than one foot away from each other and my muse runs screaming. Blargh.

I hate writing kissing scenes, and I'm pretty sure that mine always come out just the wrong side of boring. I think it's because I get caught up in the mechanics when I'm writing them.

Your scenes are always pretty hot, though, so not boring at all!

I think it feels that way because I've written so many of them over the years - they rarely feel original any more.
