How can a hamster write mysteries?

I have started writing again! There was a dry spell for a very long time, but I wrote 750 words yesterday and 1200 today without any advanced planning, and that makes me so happy. These things may never see the light of day, but it just feels good to be able to write again. Hurrah!

(And now that I've announced it, I've probably just jinxed myself into blockage again. Damn this exuberance!)

In the midst of this spree, I totally forgot to post the next chapter of Shadowplay like I'd intended to today, and now it's late and formatting and everything takes too long, so I will get it up tomorrow. You are all allowed to kick me in the shins if I don't.

I'm glad to hear that you're writing again. That's AWESOME!! Come on, dude, you can totally do it!! :D You haven't jinxed yourself at all. Don't keep saying it, because then it'll become a self-fulfilling prophecy, right? Right. So be optimistic :)

Also, you're going to have to help me out with my own writing, because OMG 8-month writer's block, HEEEELP!

You know, whenever authors are asked for advice about writing, they usually say you should read as much as you can. So, really, you're just boning up on research, right?

That is true. As each other's life managers, we are called -- nay, required -- to step in and assist the other in times of need and potential crisis, no matter how big or small the crisis may be.

But dude, over 300,000 words of fic? I don't think I have EVER read that many words in, like a month, let alone a week, LMAO! The only reason I've been able to do so is that I've literally spent the majority of this week at work reading fic. Like at least 50% of every day. I'd feel guilty, but considering I usually work so hard, I figure I'm allowed a week of slacking, haha ;)

But yeah, you'll get your drabble, don't worry. In a few days I'll get started on it!

Also, OMG I feel like we haven't talked in WEEKS and I'm dying. Except I'm okay because I know I'll be seeing you in a couple days. But still. It feels like it's been an eternity, haha! :)

No, it's true, it has been weeks! I was away for two consecutive weekends; that is a damn long time! :)
