Why won't you let me watch my shows? Why? Haven't I suffered enough by not being able to watch things at the same time as the good people in North America?
I tried watching the season premiere of Criminal Minds today, and then was cut off in the middle of Morgan in a very tense scene by the video hosting site, which accused me of having already logged 1811 hours of video watching that day, and that I would have to wait 116 minutes for the rest of it or sign up and pay for their unlimited streaming services. First of all, evil video hosting site, I would have to bend the laws of time and space to watch that much TV in one day, and second, I waited your seemingly very arbitrary number of minutes and more, but then had to reload the video after that time was up, which took another hour. And then, of course, once the BAU got their profile and went on the move, the video cut out again because I had apparently watched another 1811 hours in the time span between uploading the videos. What, am I magic?
You can tell I'm frustrated by the amount of italics I'm using.
All links to this episode seem to go to the same site, or a Chinese site that never loads past a certain point for me. I am crushed! Distraught! Does Morgan tackle someone? These are things I need to know!

on 2009-01-25 05:55 pm (UTC)I am simply a fangirl who is massively in love with your writing (long time reader, first time writer and all that) and for some reason, I came across your livejournal page today. I too am not in North America and DESPERATE for some of my US TV shows. My current fixation is Friday Night Lights - I've watched season 1 and now need to get my hands on season 2. You mention a video hosting site - does his work? Any tips/advice? Am happy to send my email addy if that helps.
