I've been neglectful about bashing you over the head with how awesome Horrible Histories is. My apologies, and due rectification: a song about Aztec religious rituals that had me simultaneously weirded out and mesmerized.

Those history videos are very odd. Fun, but odd. Never in my life would I have imagined listening to a schoolchildren's educational program which featured a guy singing Barry Gibb-style about committing blood sacrifice. (It's oddly fitting though.)

LOL, not Jon Lovitz or a relation. Horrible Histories is a UK historical sketch comedy show; this may not have been the best introduction to it ;) I've posted other vids of theirs previously, though, that are a lot less weird, if you want a looksee. :)
